KLAUS’S LAVA STEW WITH PASTA
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kg minced beef 12-16%
- 400 g peeled tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 dl red wine
- Oil for frying
- Freshly chopped chili of your own choosing (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
PASTA
- 400 g penne
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp salt
DIRECTIONS:
Heat the oil in a pan and brown the beef bit by bit. Meanwhile, blend the peeled tomatoes and finely chop the onions and garlic. Add the remaining ingredients once the meat is browned, and let the lava stew simmer for 2 hours. If necessary, thin with a little water, so the stew does not burn and stick. Finally season with salt and pepper.
PASTA Boil the pasta in generously salted water for 12 minutes. Strain the pasta and mix it well with a little oil.
TO SERVE Arrange the pasta at the bottom of a deep plate and top with the lava stew. Sprinkle with some finely chopped chili (optional).
