Chili Klaus is the man behind one of Denmark's biggest internet successes. With over a quarter of a billion views on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, his chili tastings with famous Danes like Bubber and Smadremanden have long since become part of Danish popular culture.
It all begins one summer day on Bornholm, when Klaus is bored. He sets up a camera in the garden and records a short informational video where he talks about chilies and then eats one. The video goes viral, and thus begins a chili adventure of another world, which has sent the good Chili Klaus around every corner of Denmark.
A meeting with Chili Klaus is an audience-engaging lecture that mixes anecdotes, humor, chili tasting and possibly music in a lively and unpretentious way. And yes, a lecture never the same.

Chili Klaus has received a Zulu Award for Most Entertaining Video of the Year, is the winner of the food+media award and was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the American YouTube show Hot Ones in 2022.
Chili Klaus is a trained pianist from the Royal Academy of Music in Jutland, but has had a keen interest in chilies and spicy food since the 90s.
